New TV Series: True Blood (HBO)

I have just noticed that there is a new series on air: TRUE BLOOD and of course with new boys in town. With the tag line, Strange Love.

I can't be really sure whether this is going to be interesting story as much as THE MOONLIGHT that caught many fans who fell crazy for and wanting for more episodes. But, I guess this can be a little quench for those blood thirst out there to follow vampire's life.

If MOONLIGHT only present two new boys, this new series gives you three more!

I have just got access to the first series. Once I watched it, I shall write some comment here!!!!

Season 1 - Series #1 - Strange Love (Aired on 7th Sept 2008)
Two years after vampires have "come out of the coffin", 173-year-old Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) walks into Merlotte's Bar in Bon Temps, Louisiana and changes the life of telepathic barmaid Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) forever. Meanwhile, Sookie's friend Tara (Rutina Wesley) comes to work at Merlotte's while Sookie's tomcatting brother Jason (Ryan Kwanten) finds himself on the wrong side of the law.

Ok, watched it and time to comment!!!!

First of all, I dont like the accent. OK, done with that.

Secondly, err.. A lot of adult scenes (around 3 to 4), which some people might find that offended.

Thirdly, MOONLIGHT is so much better, the lighting, the plot line, etc. Perhaps TRUE BLOOD just started and needed to wait for second episode to really feel the heat.

Not too scary and boleh-lah.

Enough said and MOON LIGHT fan will really think this is another crap. Unlike to MOON LIGHT, the vampire has unknown society, contrary to TRUE BLOOD that vampires get amongs the people and easily recognisable.

Mmm... Still going to download next episode anyway.

True Blood feels a lot like Heroes right off the bat (just rented the first episode from Blockbuster), though it still feels mostly original... overall the show makes me want to eat Cajun food and drink cheap beer
