I watched a new series on 8TV or Channel 9 (can't quite remember) about a ghostly man, VAMPIRE who'd walked on daylight. Gosh, must be a new variant!
I like this kind of story - where it is not as haunted as watching creepy movie, where you heard sound of nowhere, or "things" coming out from creepy places.
Since I like to watch movie like Van Helsing (and can't remember the two-movies of werewolf and vampire), this new series really caught me up. [Perhaps, the main character Mick St John (Alex O'Loughlin) really cute!]
Alex O'Loughlin as Mick St. John, a private investigator who was turned into a vampire over fifty years before the start of the show's main storyline in 1952 on the night of his wedding by his bride Coraline. He was thirty years old at the time. As a private investigator, he is a shrewd planner and remarkably honorable. Even though he realizes that Beth means quite a bit to him, he is reluctant to continue a romantic relationship with her, knowing that his being a vampire would hinder any sort of normal life.
So, as usual, I kind of getting the whole series (from CBS) and now watching them as I have so much free time!
First episode, kind of telling you what the story about - don't worry, not much violent or scary part. The vampire itself is very nice (and charming). You are going to love him.

For 1st season, there is only 16 episodes. Hope there will be new season!

You do realize Moonlight was canceled? And I am not happy about it. I don't like 90% of what is on TV, but when I do like something, "THEY" cancel it. CBS never even gave the show a fighting chance. The writers strike hurt the show. (Indecently, why did they strike? It is not like they earned it. All the crap on TV these day's, I would not want my name as a writer associated with the majority of the shows). CBS should have been "NICE" and gave Moonlight another season. I am a writer myself, and could have done e a lot better....with no union to deal with either. Okay, that is another argument for another day. CBS could have at least "finished" the story instead of leaving us all out in the hallway (end of last episode). But, as a writer, I have an awesome imagination, so Mick and Beth and the others will live on for me.
Enjoyed your review...but it hurts my heart to read something where the author is not aware that the beautiful show Moonlight ...is no more! Cancelled! There has been a massive fan campaign to try and get another network to pick up the show but to no avail. Great cast, great story-line...cut-off before it's prime. CBS had a gem of a show and could be in the lead with the new wave of vampire based stories (Twighlight the movie) but chose to cancel a show with a passionate fan base of 8 million.
OMG! I did not notice that it was cancelled. As I mentioned earlier, I had the chance to watch the show from Malaysian tv network, and start digging for it. I have not dig deep enough to learn that it was cancelled!
But, I hope the "thing" that happened - the miracle that bring Gossip Girl back alive - will also bring MOONLIGHT to be re-caste, and aired!
